New World Facilities Management Company Limited ("NWFM") is a professional facilities management company dedicated to the successful management and operation of Youth Square. We are committed to providing quality management and operation services to position Youth Square as the hub of territory-wide youth activities in Hong Kong.

Youth Square is located in Chai Wan, Hong Kong and is a 3-minute walk from Chai Wan MTR Station. Youth Square has adopted an innovative spatial design and encompasses a wide range of facilities including a 148-room hostel, Y Theatre with 643 seats, Y Studio the black-box theatre, multi-purpose and exhibition areas, and retail and office space.

NWFM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of New World Development Company Limited ("NWD") (HK Stock Code: 00017). Inheriting the core values of its parent company, NWFM strives to promote the holistic development of youth, encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience among youth, and nurture future leaders through developing Youth Square as the platform for youth to develop and discover their potential.

Provision of management and operation services for Youth Square

Youth Square is a project commissioned by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

After the tender exercise in 2022, NWFM was awarded a contract by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau for the provision of management and operation services for Youth Square until 31 March 2030.

The Management and Operation Services Contract

The management and operation services contract ("The Contract") covers a full range of administration, management and operation services. Besides a series of pre-opening services such as interior design, furnishing, and fitting-out works, the scope of service of The Contract includes the following:

• Hostel Management

  Sales, promotion, collection of tariff, repair and maintenance, and replacement of the fitting-out items and furniture

• Venue and Facilities Management
  

  Sales, promotion, collection of hire charge, licence management, theatrical and technical support services to hirers, accounts servicing, repair, maintenance and replacement of audio and theatrical equipment, fitting-out items and furniture

• Property Management Services

  Security services, cleansing services, building services, E&M repair and maintenance services, and landscape maintenance services

• Information Technology Service

  Wi-Fi access and online service

• Leasing Services

  Lease execution and collection of rents and fees

• Events and Marketing Services

  Planning and execution of venue promotion events and branding management

• Customer Relations Services

  Enquiries and feedback handling

A team of dedicated staff is the key to quality service and customers' satisfaction. In addition to their expertise in hospitality, venue services, theatrical services, property management, leasing, building and E&M maintenance service and brand management, staff of NWFM are devoted to the all-round development of our younger generation by staging youth activities and coordinating organizations of diverse nature to hold their youth events in Youth Square.
